Shilpa with same elegance and decency entered the office. She looked beautiful as usual, the way she has been looking for past four years. But her eyes seemed different today, not same as it looked for past four years bright and loquacious.  Deep within, her eyes were teary. Anybody who knew her could sense the unrest and uneasiness in those eyes which were always bright and twinkling. Shilpa on the other hand trying hard to hide the commotion but was unable to do so. And nobody knew what can be the reason. She straight away walked to her workstation which was surely not normal and sat there with her eyes closed may be she wanted to have her own time, may be she wanted to handle the commotion on her own. While sitting there dived deep in her past which was beautiful than anything else on the earth. Yes, she had a wonderful past. Four years back in this office only she happened to meet Rajeev. In fact both of them joined the company the very same day, their training, induction everything happened together and that was the reason of their so great rapport. Everything was so great between them, they used to spend most of their time together when in office their lunch, and tea/coffee everything they had together and after office they used to talk for hours without realizing the time. Shilpa was from Meerut, a city in the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh. It is an ancient city with settlements dating back Indus Valley Civilization and Rajeev from Saharanpur, a city with 705,478 populations a Municipal Corporation in the State of Uttar Pradesh. Both of them were born and brought up ion UP. Shilpa's dad was a Govt. employee whereas Rajeev's father was renowned doctor of town. They left their respective towns for their further studies and came to Gurgaon, a corporate hub to test their destiny. Over a period of time their liking for each other grew so much that they didn't even realize when they came so close that in six months only, one fine day they decided to stay together in live in That was the boldest step which any girl from city like Meerut could ever take in her life. She had to face lots of criticism from her family even her relatives were angry on her but she was kind of determined to do that. Since then they were together and happy. They were not married but they were more than a married couple. Anybody will feel jealous to see their connectedness which is difficult to maintain atleast in today's scenario where we only see couples going for divorce. Two years back Rajeev decided to switch and so he joined another company for better profile and better money, because money is the only factor people come for in metro cities. On the other hand Shilpa was promoted internally so she stayed back. Though they started working in different companies it hardly affected the bond between them they were as happy as they were at any point of time ever since they have met. They shared same rapport as they had in past.

Then what happened today.... why were her eyes so teary , why she looked tensed and weary?? this was the question for everyone who knew her, people around her, her colleagues, her sub ordinates in office in fact her immediate boss had the same question but nobody could dare to ask because they knew to respect her privacy. They never wanted to assail into her matters like that. But Pooja very good friend of her and colleague for past four years was not able to take her friend's silence and so she asked her for a cup of coffee which she of course denied at the first place but on being forced by Pooja she somehow agreed. They went to CCD same old place just at the ground floor of the building where their office is. That's the place where She and Rajeev had their first but unofficial date and for the first time everything began to come before her eyes and she immediately bursted into the tears, she couldn't handle her emotions anymore now. Pooja ordered two cups of same coffee which they used to have there for several years. Even the waiters were aware of their tastes by now. Without even asking Shilpa started to tell Pooja about her state. She for the first time in three months opened herself in front of anybody. What she told Pooja was kind of unbelievable for anybody especially for those who knew Shilpa and Rajeev as a couple. They broke off, yes The last night they broke off. Nobody in the wildest of his/ her dream could ever imagine this could happen to them. They seemed to be the happiest couple to anybody. But what Shilpa told Pooja was true though she couldn't believe her ears but that was true. Though that was breathtaking but it was true. Pooja was dumbstruck, still she managed to ask WHY. What she was told was this... Rajeev three months back went to Mumbai for an official three days conference ever since he came back from there he was no more the same man. The man who he loved from all her heart and soul. The man who her parents always despised but she always stood beside her. The Man for whom she had to go through huge criticism from her own family. Shilpa was disturbed on seeing his changed behavior but she was positive about their love and the bond between them. After a week Shilpa gathered courage to ask the reason and what she got to know was beyond her imaginations. Rajeev when went to Mumbai there he met a girl Shivani who was also one of the delegate in the conference. They stayed in the same hotel by chance and God only knows when and how in three days only they came close to each other. they even bed each other. And in the row things happened which were never suppose to happen. Shilpa couldn't believe whatever she was told but she managed to let every word pour poison in her ear and heart. She didn't say anything because she always believed nothing can affect the love between them but little did she know that her world will be shattered this way some day. She never bothered to put walls to protect because she always trusted him from core. Last night only Rajeev confessed his love for the new girl in his life and he even felt sorry for Shilpa. Sorry... Shilpa always knew sorry can not make a dead man alive and she was almost dead to hear this. She was unable to figure out anything, She did no less in this relation. He said that he still loves her too.. she wanted to say one thing "if at all you loved me you would have never thought of somebody else in your life". But she felt her lips sealed, she couldn't utter a word. She packed her luggage and left without having any idea where to go.. She checked in a hotel, entered her room and cried her heart out... She didn't regret anything, she was just no more the same.. A new person, A new version....
