Sayonara.... 2018

This is my last post of year 2018 and this is sure because in few hours even the calendar will tell new year. And now, the thought of new year is bringing happiness. This is I believe for the first time I am not celebrating it formally, no party, no friends, no relatives, no calls nothing at all. Nothing, just me and only me, with my laptop writing this last piece to bid adieu to the year, which has been no less than an exam in whole life. Full of ups and downs like a see-saw, sometimes up and sometimes down. However, I have no complaint how this year went, because I am happy that it is over. 

I am not saying that tonight with changed year everything in life will change and fall in place, not at all. Because I am now grown up...., ha ha ha, I simply mean that now I know that things doesn't happen my way, they have their own ways and I am happy that now I know that. Though I am not celebrating it officially, how everybody does it but I believe I never had this level of peace and happiness in years which I am having now. I am finding happiness just by donating food to the poor and the happiness which I saw in that man'e eyes upon receiving food was beyond words. 

Now when it is getting over, I am sure of one thing at least that happiness doesn't come with big things, in fact it doesn't have to do anything with things big or small. I am finding happiness in cleaning kitchen, in filling empty hand wash bottle, in doing regular stuff like that.... 

Writing this also brings smile......
